Antique Jewelry, Estate Jewelry. Circa 1880s, 18k. This Renaissance revival bracelet features an elegant central clover motif trimmed in black enamel, set with a gorgeous 3.0 carat ruby, surrounded by smaller rubies and rosecut diamonds. Enameled strap work, smaller clovers, trefoil ruby clusters, and profuse hand-engraving complete the picture. This is the ultimate antique chic bracelet. Flawless with ball gowns or cocktail dresses, it is also fabulous with heels and jeans for the perfect Boho look. Meticulously handmade in 18k gold, it is in excellent condition.

Stone Details: The 3.0 carat center stone is lovely; all of the rubies have a well-saturated red hue with a touch of magenta pink undertones and moderate inclusions. The diamonds are rose cuts with good color and clarity.

Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: "The Victorians loved bold jewelry; the bigger and more colorful the better. Throw in designs from every aesthetic movement ever, often combined in new and distinctive ways. They were the original 'anything and everything goes' crew. Victorian jewelry was a design explosion leaving us with a fashion legacy of unique and one of kind pieces."
