Circa 1980s, 18k/platinum, Swiss. This amazing brooch is all about colors and design. A lush bright 17.0-carat peridot sits amidst swirls of brilliant white diamonds and purple-red garnets. Part of a suite of jewelry made as an homage to Verdi, this brooch has all of the theatrical expression he was known for. Finely fashioned, it is in excellent condition.

Stone Details: The peridot displays a leafy green which is an optimal hue for peridot. The garnets are a unique color, obviously cut from one group of distinctive, perfectly matched rough crystal. They are extremely bright and lively.
