Circa 1993, 18k, By Cross Jewelers, Portland Maine. A brilliantly chic American jewel, this one-of-a-kind ring features a stunning 16.10 carat Maine tourmaline. The look is contemporary, colorful and bold; American jewelry fashion at its locally sourced and handmade best. The hue of the stone is a lush green with sparkly highlights and the cut unique, very deep and with an unusual facet plan. Excellent condition.

Stone Details: This stunning Maine Tourmaline was cut by Phillip McCrillis, a native Maine stone cutter who was famous for finding the best Maine tourmaline and cutting them into interesting shapes. His long and storied relationship with Cross Jewelers of Portland, Maine, contributed to their fame for contemporary motif jewelry mounted with superb Maine tourmaline.
