Circa 1960s, 18k, by Paul Binder, Zurich, Switzerland. Iconic to the sixties, whether in song or on a record label, green apples were everywhere. This one, in beautifully figured chalcedony with a diamond-set 18k stem, leaf, and ladybug, is wonderfully Pop Art goes elegant! The post-modern pop style was cool then and is so very chic today. Excellent condition.

Stone Details: The Green chalcedony of the apple is delightfully figured, perfectly imitating the skin of an apple.

Note: Chain shown is a separate item.

Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: “Paul Binder was the original designer who made first wood and gold apple pendants and later stone versions. There is nothing cooler than an original.”
