Circa 1880s, 18k, France. Colorful, compelling, charming, and "oh so Joan of Arc chic," this aesthetic revival brooch is a stylishly au courant antique. Finely fashioned in 18k gold, cunningly enameled, and set with sapphires, rubies, and diamonds, it is a lovely and wearable example of 19th-century French jewelry. Excellent condition.
