Circa 1840-60s, 14k. These superb earrings are all about the luminous, smoldering Bohemian garnets. The look is colorfully vintage chic at its authentically antique best. Every detail perfect from precise clean prongs to the polished gold that exactly frames the unique stones. Excellent condition. Restored ear wires noted.

Stone Details: The garnet cabochons, or carbuncles as they were called, are hi-karat gold foil-backed to enhance their fiery appearance. Today, stones of this color often referred to as "Bohemian Garnets" are rare.
