Circa 1880s, 18k, France. This delightful owl brooch is a gorgeous example of French Fin-de-Siecle jewelry. Its delightful design deftly balances naturalism and stylistic interpretation. Finely fashioned, each of the huge eyes is a brilliant white .43 carat old mine cut diamond. Excellent condition.
