Circa 1970s, 18k, Paul Binder, Swiss. This 18k gold ring is set with a brilliant white 1.35 carat cushion-cut diamond and .60 carats of fine accent diamonds. Its elegant design blends the modernist concept with classical aesthetics. The result is an edgy visual vibrancy, softened by fashionable wearability. Famous for his use of wood in gold jewelry, Paul Binder was one of the finest Swiss goldsmiths during the second half of the twentieth century. His original shop was in Winterthur, and later on, also in Zurich. Excellent condition.
