Inv. #26221
#26221 - Hopi Modernist Ring
Price: $2,100.00

Circa 1970s, 14k, Hopi. Featuring the distinctive Hopi cobblestone motif, this fabulous seventies ring is all about color, form, and the Post-Modern aesthetic. The design is visually fluid and delightfully abstract, with a heavy nod to Mondrian. Set with lapis, turquoise, and coral, the look is understated cool!  Excellent condition.

Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: “The utopian movement left its mark on the Art world and it found resonance with the Hopi, their utopianist vision predates the French idiom by millennia.”
