Inv. #26645
#26645 - Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. Gold Bean Necklace
Price: $7,800.00

Circa 1980s, 18k, by Elsa Peretti, for Tiffany & Co., New York.  Elsa Peretti's designs for Tiffany created a new style in jewelry. Visually capturing fluid narratives in metal, her amorphous pieces are miniature sculptures. These “bean” motifs are iconic examples of her best work. The diminutive size of this necklace makes it a bold standout redolent of all things big in fashion, a recurring theme in the seventies and eighties.

Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: “Elsa Peretti joined Tiffany & Co. in 1974, her iconic designs are instantly recognizable.”
