Circa 1960s, 18k, by Cazzaniga, Italy. This delightful scarecrow brooch by Cazzaniga is a sublime one-of-a-kind jewel. Every detail is perfectly executed. He is adorned with wide ruby eyes, there are garnet and emerald patches on his worn coat, and a bright red enamel tie completes the look. Founded in 1929 in Rome, Cazzaniga's salon is now by appointment only, continuing to create one-of-a-kind pieces for a select clientele. Excellent condition.
