Inv. #26658
#26658 - Antique French Medusa's Head Seal Fob ... Pendant
Price: $2,800.00

Circa 1880s, 18k, France.  This rotating two-sided seal fob with 18k gold mounts is also a charming pendant, perfect for layered multiples. Featuring fine carvings of Medusa before and after her transformation, the look is Gallic town and country chic at its archeological revival best. Wear it long or short, on its own, or as part of a talismanic group. Sturdily constructed, the piece feels wonderful on and has a generous bale. Very good condition.

Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: “There is an authenticity to antique jewelry that makes it fun, mix your moment of fashion with the heady magic of the ancients.”
