#27463 - Pair of Vintage Fifties 18k Gold Squirrel Brooches

Circa 1950s, 18k, Switzerland.  Beyond delightful, these squirrels have each found a prize - a ruby acorn in their paws and a matching friend. Beautifully made in eighteen-karat gold with ruby eyes, the fact that they are left and right makes them rare and extra appealing. This pair of brooches is in excellent condition.

Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: “When these cuties came along I couldn’t resist squirreling them away. Puns aside, I adore a pair of wonderful animal brooches.” Remark by Katie
