#27543 - Antique Gold Fob c1850s
Price: $3,800.00

Circa 1850s, 14k.  This early Victorian fob is wonderfully decorated with leaves and flowers, a foliate scroll lyre, and a bright citrine. Perfect as a pendant, the look is “town and country” chic. Quality hand construction throughout in fourteen karat gold completes the picture.  Excellent condition.

Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: “Wearing a fob around your neck is the original boyfriend look. Popularized in the 20's, wearing fobs on bracelets and necklaces, (like stealing your boyfriend’s, husband's, brother's, father's or grandfather’s cool gear) never goes out of style! …Rock out like its 1851!”
