Inv. #27804
#27804 - Antique 14k Gold Earrings
SOLD

Circa 1870s, 14k, American. These extra-long, dramatic Victorian earrings are actually a shorter pair of earrings married to an element or festoon from a matching necklace. The result is spectacular. If they had thought of it during that period, they would have done it themselves!  Excellent condition.

Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: "The Victorians loved to restyle their jewelry, and marriages or remade pieces from that era are common, and some, like this one, are gorgeous."
Condition: Excellent condition.
Weight: 16.9 g
