Antique Diamond and Sapphire Bee Brooch

Circa 1920s, Silver over 18k gold, possibly French. Set with .80 carats of diamonds and .80 carats of intense blue sapphires, this fashionably refined vintage Bee brooch has playful visual appeal. Well-made in the traditional manner of silver over gold with meticulous attention to detail, this one-of-a-kind Bee is in excellent condition.
Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: "Bee pins are a tradition that goes back more than two centuries; this one is only 100 years old."
