Inv. #23856
Art Deco Diamond-set Platinum Cocktail Ring
SOLD
Circa 1920s, Platinum, American. This spectacular Art Deco cocktail ring features very white, very sparkly diamonds! Diamonds! Diamonds! …did anyone say it's all about the diamonds? Redolent of ribbon motifs, the curvilinear flow of platinum and round diamonds is juxtaposed by a crisp .85-carat emerald cut diamond (G color, VS clarity). As one would expect of fine twenties platinum jewelry, the fabrication is meticulous, and the quality obvious. Excellent condition.
Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: "Art Deco set the world of design on fire! Pieces like this one were the newest, boldest fashion."
Condition: Excellent condition.
Ring Size: Ring Size 7, it can be sized.
Weight: 7.1 gr
Stones: .85 carat G color, VS clarity diamonds plus 1.0 carats total weight of H color, VS clarity accent diamonds = 1.85 carats total weight
Hallmarks: 10% IRID PLAT
