Art Deco Pottery Pitcher by Paul Jacquet
SOLD
Circa 1920s, by Paul Jacquet, France. This fabulous pitcher from Paul Jacquet's earlier work is redolent of the Deco modernist style. The visionary form, understated colors, and sublime lines and dots motif is visually fresh 100 years later. Meticulously fabricated, it is in excellent condition.

Many of his pieces from this period can be found in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris.
Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: "In the 1920s, Jacquet produced work exclusively for the renowned Parisian Department store Primavera.

Hallmarks: Impressed PJ hallmark for Paul Jacquet (1883-1968)
Measurements: 8 3/4 inches high by 6 3/4 inches wide
