Circa 1950s, Platinum, American. This modernist snowflake pin is a stylish fifties update of a venerable classic. Meticulously fabricated in platinum, it is set with 5.0 carats of fine diamonds, including some larger stones.  Excellent condition. 

Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: "I was told that this piece was custom made by Betteridge of Greenwich, Connecticut using stones from older pieces.”

Stones: 5.0 carat total weight diamonds, H, I & J color, VS clarity. Center stone is .80 carat, with 2 x .50ct, plus 4 x .25ct.
