Extraordinary Bohemian Garnet Earrings

Circa 1880-1900, gilt silver and 14k gold, attributed Austrian.  These amazing Victorian earrings have remained in style and fashionable for over 125 years.  Their bold look has a unique verve that captures the imagination while turning heads.  A superlative technical achievement, the dangling balls are set with fire-red Bohemian garnets which smolder like embers when they catch the light.  These earrings are sublime marriages remade most probably in the 1920s from three components all late Victorian. This is vintage chic at its one-of-a-kind best.
