Circa 1970s, 14k, F & F Felger for J. E. Caldwell, American. This gorgeous classic ring is all about the 4.50 carat superb garnet. The color is a smoldering red maroon, beautifully accented by brilliant white diamonds. Felger was a supplier to many of the top American firms. From the twenties to the seventies they specialized in classic designs and fine colored stones. J.E. Caldwell set the tone in Philadelphia for quality and look. Additionally set with .50 carats of fine diamonds, this is fabulous example of their work together. Excellent condition.
