Inv. #13162
Fab Fifties Gold Snake Bracelet
SOLD
Circa 1950s, 18k, Italy.  Snake bracelets were the height of fashion in the ancient world and have remained continuously in style for over two thousand years. This fifties serpent bracelet is heavy and well-made. It is flexible so it can be worn on the wrist or pushed up the arm.
Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: "Sleek little serpents have long decorated our fingers and wrists. Although in the Georgian and Victorian periods they traditionally represent fidelity and friendship, we love them for their slightly wicked vibe. Its fun to walk on the wild side!"
Condition: Excellent condition.
Weight: 105.3 gr
Stones: ruby eyes
Hallmarks: 750 for 18k and Italian workshop registration hallmark
Measurements: fits from smaller than average to slightly larger than average size wrists.
