Inv. #24494
Massive Lalaounis Lapis and Gold Necklace
SOLD

Circa 1960s, 22k, by Ilias Lalaounis, Greece. This boldly stylish gold necklace by Lalaounis features lapis-set festoons. With flirty movement, they also delicately chime! Ilias Lalaounis was a visionary creating jewelry based on classical Greek, archaic, and ethnic themes.  As an added bonus, this necklace is one of the rare earlier examples made in 22-karat gold, instead of 18k. Meticulously handcrafted, this necklace is in excellent condition.
