The crystal rings like a bell and the design and execution of the cutting is superb. Erwin Krause, arguably the greatest glass designer and cutter of the 20th century, designed this pattern to be the jewel in the crown of Tharaud designs. It is a complex and expensive pattern to make. In the end, it was never produced and only these 13 were made. Excellent condition.
