Circa 1890s, 18k, retailed by Chaumet, France. Ornamented with sapphire and ruby set 18k gold snakes, these hairpins from the renowned house of Chaumet, are one-of-a-kind delights. Retailed by Chaumet in the late 19th century, they add a mystical, exotic flair to any moment of fashion, then or now. Excellent condition.

Hint: wear them in your hair the same way one would decorative chopsticks.
