Circa 1980s, 18k / 22k, signed Austin, American. A brilliant landscape of textures, shapes, and colors of gold, this organo chic eighties ring is a hand-made one-of-a-kind. Used by a professor of goldsmithing at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston) as an example of superb gold work, the look is contemporary design at its Post-Modern organic motif chic. Found in unworn condition, it is set with .33 carats of ruby and .26 carats of fine white diamonds. Excellent condition.
