Art Deco Vase by Louis Lourioux

Circa 1920-30 by Louis Lourioux, France. A visionary figure in the 1920s Parisian Decorative Arts scene, Louis Lourioux was known for his bold stylish designs and fast lifestyle. This stunning example of Modernist aesthetics in the Art Deco period features dimensional dots and stripes on a gourd-form pottery vase. The colors are subtle hues and the balance of the composition is thoughtful. Beautifully made, it is in excellent condition.
